Online Learning: This example visually organizes a typical week in an online learning classroom. Attach or link student resources and reference material. Create collaborative spaces for discussions. Include private spaces for turning in assignments. Use this example to help you set up your next online class. View the example here: Online Learning

Online classes require a lot of information to be kept in a secure and collaborative space. Information must be presented to students. The instructor needs them to access it and review it, but not change it or accidentally (or intentionally!) delete it. You can grant Read permissions on individual nodes in Spinscape. So nodes containing class resources can be viewed but not altered in any way.

To accommodate discussions and assignments, Write permissions can be given. Give the entire class Write permissions on nodes designed to allow them to add thoughts and ideas. Additionally, Write permission can be granted to each student on their own individual node, so they can privately submit assignments for instructor review.

Our web-based application allows members to contribute 24/7 from work, school, home, or wherever they have access to the internet--just as you would expect in an online class. Use this example to help you set up your next online class in Spinscape!
