It is my duty to investigate, prevent, and solve crimes against people and property. I need to constantly evolve my methods and use modern techniques and tools to keep up with criminal masterminds. Spinscape is one of those tools. While gathering facts and collecting evidence for criminal cases often gets messy, Spinscape makes it easy for me to organize my information into nodes. It works just like a container. I add notes, tags, and links to bring my partner up-to-date on any given case. I attach any crime scene photographs and important documents to help move the case along.

Speaking of my partner, he is out sick right now. No worries though, he can still give his input from home and collaborate with me and other officers on existing cases in real-time. As the saying goes, “Two heads are better than one.” In my field, you need all the minds you can get to brainstorm, collaborate and share ideas. Using the discussion feature makes sharing thoughts and ideas simple when not everyone is on the same schedule. Assigning tasks has never been so smooth. The “rookie” has another 5 minutes to get here with my coffee or he’s cleaning the cells!
