I am a Doctor

I am a doctor. I need to research, diagnose, collaborate, brainstorm, investigate, evaluate, record, provide, inform, train, and educate.

I respond to medical problems presented by patients including history taking, investigation, diagnosis and treatment. I can visually map my research, findings and resources for patients all in one place. I can upload any related documents and directly link my web-based resources. I attach images and videos that display and play right in Spinscape!

I increasingly work as part of a team alongside other health care professionals to discuss care options for patients and their families. While collaborating, I grant sharing permissions for my team when necessary to maintain confidentiality and impartiality. Read-only allows my team to access this valuable information without risking accidently changing anything.

I discuss the development of new pharmaceutical products with pharmaceutical sales representatives. Different representatives can be given nodes with individual write permissions. This ensures that only the sales rep and I will be able to view and edit our discussion. They can submit their proposals, reports and documentation by attaching them in a map. I can review the details surrounding the new product, submit questions, make comments, and follow-up with each sales rep, on a private basis. As the owner of the map, I control the sharing permissions. At anytime, I can invite team members to participate or restrict users from further accessing my map.

I spend part of my day dictating (verbally recording) my patients’ conditions, which is later transcribed as a legal document. I can attach my verbal recordings directly to my map and play them back from within Spinscape! This allows me to review my recordings while also transcribing them into a legal document, all in one place.

With the constant flow of various documents and information, staying organized is vital! It is important that I organize preventative medical programs for individual patients. In Spinscape, I can map my ideas and procedures to organize and essentially develop an appropriate preventative medical program for my patients. I can export my map to form a report or outline. The export can include notes, links, images and more! It is convenient and simple to print off a copy to review with the patient, or pass it on to another recommended specialist.

I promote health education in conjunction with other health professionals. I keep up to date with medical developments, new drugs, treatments and medications. I observe and assess the work of trainee general practitioners (GPs) and medical students. Mapping new breakthroughs and developments creates an online resource center that helps educate medical students and other health professionals alike. Images and YouTube videos can be attached to give a deeper understanding of material and even train up-and-coming or existing healthcare professionals.

I am a doctor. I have a lot to do and I found the one resource to handle so many of my needs. I use Spinscape!
