I am a working mom. I have multiple to-do lists rotating at all times. Let’s face it, I have a million things to do. I am forced to multi-task because there’s always something that takes priority at the moment. But of course it all needs to get done. I need an application that can organize my demanding life.

I can quickly separate my daily demands into categories: Kids. Work. Home. Personal. From there, the nodes continue to fly in. Kids have school, sports, homework, field trips, sleep overs and birthday parties. My work? You know how that goes! Daily to-dos. Team projects. Department meetings. Budgets. Event planning. The list goes on… You wouldn’t think I need to break down my home and personal life. But it can get out of hand! You would be amazed at what I forget about if it’s not captured somewhere.

Spinscape captures items like to-dos. In fact, I can add a task to a node, including a due date and a description. If it’s a work project that I’m doing with others, or something I need to delegate, I can assign a collaborator to the task. An email notification goes out–and I’ll get one back once the item has been marked completed. Consider a to-do “Done” when Spinscape is involved!

On top of my to-do items and tasks, I capture information, ideas, images, and online resources. I can map out grocery lists and favorite recipes, cleaning and maintenance schedules, and even important phone numbers. I attach sport schedules and recital information. I help the kids research homework projects and show them how they can map out their writing or the book they’re reading. I jot down gift ideas and then look up and link online sources for purchasing them. I can plan our family vacation or a business trip. Using the auto-discovery plugins I can even find great deals and destinations and include links to the pertaining pages. Then I create picture and video collages from our last trip or recent family event. Where else can you go besides Spinscape to get so many things in one place??

When you’re a working mom, always on the go, you need something that goes with you. With Spinscape, I can export my information too. That means I can create a paper, report, or PDF file that I can save outside of Spinscape, or print and make portable. AND there’s a Spinscape iPhone application! I can access my to-do lists and grocery lists, gift ideas and sports schedules, photo galleries and directions to friends homes, right on my iPhone. Just like the online application, I can edit the information too. It automatically syncs with my account in the online application. Photos and audio files taken with the iPhone are added like a real-time journal or memory capturing moment.
